SUMMARY AS ENACTED WITH GOVERNOR'S RECOMMENDATION:
Conveyance of state-owned bottomlands in Hampton. Authorizes the Marine Resources Commission to convey three parcels of state-owned bottomlands consisting of 1,200 square feet, 10,900 square feet, and 22,400 square feet to private parties. The grantees shall compensate the Commonwealth in an amount equal to 25% of the assessed value of the land being conveyed, unless the Marine Resources Commission were to determine that unique circumstances warrant compensation in an amount less than 25% of the assessed value. The terms and conditions of the conveyance shall be approved by the Governor and the conveyance shall be in a form approved by the Attorney General. This bill is identical to SB 1367</p>
SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Conveyance of state-owned bottomlands in Hampton. Authorizes the Marine Resources Commission to convey, for fair market value, three parcels of state-owned land consisting of 1,200 square feet, 10,900 square feet, and 22,400 square feet to private parties. The terms and conditions of the conveyance shall be approved by the Governor and the conveyance shall be in a form approved by the Attorney General. This bill is identical to SB 1367.
