Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  §1. That pursuant to the authority provided in 46 U.S.C. § 70119, the Virginia Beach Police Department Marine Patrol may patrol and enforce all federal security zones and safety zones located within the tidal waters of the Commonwealth that fall within the Virginia Beach Police Department's jurisdiction, including but not limited to those security zones and safety zones designated in 22 C.F.R. Part 165. Pursuant to authority provided in 33 U.S.C. § 1225, the Virginia Beach Police Department Marine Patrol may patrol and enforce all federal restricted areas located within the tidal waters of the Commonwealth that fall within the Virginia Beach Police Department's jurisdiction.
