Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. That portion of U.S. Route 19 in Russell County between Virginia Route 80  [ at Rosedale ] and the Russell/Tazewell County boundary is hereby designated the "American  [ Ex-Prisoners Former Prisoners ]  of War Memorial Highway." The Department of Transportation, at the request of the local governing body, shall place and maintain appropriate signs indicating the designation of this highway. This designation shall not affect any other designation heretofore or hereafter applied to this highway or any portion thereof.
