The President of the Board of Education is directed to submit a report on the status of all such requests for waivers and exemptions to the chairmen of the Senate Committee on Education and Health and the House Committee on Education and the chairmen of the Senate Committee on Finance and the House Committee on Appropriations.  If the report indicates that the response from the U.S. Department of Education to requests for waivers and exemptions is unsatisfactory, then the President of the Board of Education must make recommendations to the Governor and the General Assembly regarding additional actions that could be taken by the Commonwealth regarding No Child Left Behind requirements.
