VIRGINIA ACTS OF ASSEMBLY -- CHAPTER An Act to amend and reenact § 1 of Chapter 453 of the Acts of Assembly of 1990, as amended by Chapter 254 of the Acts of Assembly of 2005, relating to the "Blue Star Memorial Highway." [S 532] Approved

 

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  That § 1 of Chapter 453 of the Acts of Assembly of 1990, as amended by Chapter 254 of the Acts of Assembly of 2005, is amended and reenacted as follows:

§ 1. That entire length of U.S. Route 1 in Fairfax County is and the length of Old Keene Mill Road from Accotink Creek to Interstate Route 95 in Fairfax County are hereby designated the given the designation of "Blue Star Memorial Highway." Appropriate markers signs shall be placed and maintained by the Department of Transportation to indicate the designation of this route these routes. This designation These designations shall not affect any other designations heretofore given this portion of U.S. Route 1, nor shall it affect the designation, made pursuant to Senate Joint Resolution No. 14 of 1948, of U.S. Route 301 in Virginia from the North Carolina boundary to the Maryland boundary as "The Blue Star Memorial Highway."
