068859332Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. That the entire portion of U.S. Route
236, Little River Turnpike, and that portion of Braddock Road between U.S.
Route 123 and U.S. Route 28 is hereby designated the "Blue Star Memorial
Highway." The Department of Transportation [ , at the request of the
local governing body, ] shall place and maintain appropriate

signs
] indicating the designation of these highways. [ The cost and installation of
such signs shall be reimbursed by the local governing body to the Virginia
Department of Transportation. ] These designations shall not
affect any other designations heretofore or hereafter applied to these highways
or any portions thereof.
