HOUSE BILL NO. 1547 AMENDMENT IN THE NATURE OF A SUBSTITUTE (Proposed by the House Committee on Transportation on February 9, 2006) (Patron Prior to Substitute-- Delegate Rapp) A BILL to designate the Virginia Route 631 bridge at Little Creek Dam Road the "Alma C. White Memorial Bridge."

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  §1. That the Virginia Route 631 bridge at Little Creek Dam Road is hereby designated the "Alma C. White Memorial Bridge." The Department of Transportation, at the request of the local governing body, shall place and maintain appropriate signs indicating the designation of this bridge. The cost and installation of such signs shall be reimbursed by the local governing body to the Virginia Department of Transportation. This designation shall not effect any other designation heretofore or hereafter applied to this bridge or any portion thereof.
