SUMMARY AS PASSED:
Highway maintenance by Buchanan County. Authorizes the Board of Supervisors of Buchanan County to make appropriations for the maintenance of private roads that provide the sole access to private family cemeteries containing more than 10 graves. The bill allows such appropriations only when necessary to keep the roads passable by motor vehicle, and only if such action does not conflict with certain provisions contained in Chapter 3 of Title 57 related to access to cemeteries located on private property. This bill is identical to HB 2574.
