SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:

Home care organizations; exemption.  Exempts home-based and adult foster care services retained by local boards of social services for individuals in need of such services from the licensing requirements for home care organizations, provided the local board certifies to the Department of Social Services that the person providing such services meets the regulatory standards adopted by the State Board of Social Services. The provisions of the bill will sunset on July 1, 2008.
