Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1.  § 1. Publication of clinical drug trial results.

Any person conducting any clinical drug trial in the Commonwealth shall (i) register with and submit information to the Clinical Trials Data Bank established by the Secretary of Health and Human Services through the Director of the National Institutes of Health and (ii) ensure the publication of aggregate data, with personal identifiers redacted, on the results of such human research. Such publications shall be written in language readily understood by members of the public and intended to provide relevant information about such drugs to patients and physicians.
