SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Motor vehicle insurance policies; assessment for State Police Training and Retention Fund. Imposes an assessment on insurers in an amount of one percent of the direct premium income from motor vehicle insurance policies. The measure also establishes the State Police Training and Retention Fund, into which the assessments will be deposited. Moneys in the Fund will be used to create and support programs for the training and retention of state police officers.
