Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. The U.S. Route 50 bridge over the Shenandoah River in Clarke County is hereby designated the "Jack and Carter Hardesty Shenandoah River Bridge.” The Department of Transportation shall place and maintain appropriate markers indicating the designation of this bridge. This designation shall not affect any other designation heretofore or hereafter applied to this highway or any portions thereof.
