Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. Notwithstanding § 33.1-62 of the Code of Virginia, Virginia Route 609 (Pleasant Valley Road between U.S. Route 29 (Lee Highway)) and Blue Spring Drive in Fairfax County is hereby declared to be a [ scenic highway and ] Virginia byway.
