VIRGINIA ACTS OF ASSEMBLY -- CHAPTER An Act to amend and reenact § 2 of the first enactment of Chapter 319 of the Acts of Assembly of 2002, relating to The Miller School of Albemarle. [H 642] Approved

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That § 2 of the first enactment of Chapter 319 of the Acts of Assembly of 2002 is amended and reenacted as follows:

§ 2. The Miller School of Albemarle shall be governed by a Board of Trustees consisting of fifteen no more than 23 members, according to its bylaws. Five Two members shall be appointed by the Governor of Virginia subject to confirmation by the Senate and the House of Delegates, five two members shall be appointed by the Judge of the Circuit Court of Albemarle County, and five the remaining members shall be elected by the entire Board according to its bylaws.

All trustees serving as of July 1, 2004, shall be eligible to complete their respective terms. Thereafter, all appointments and elections shall be for four years except appointments and elections to fill vacancies, which shall be for the unexpired term of the vacancy.

No member shall be eligible to serve more than three two consecutive four-year terms.
