Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. The Lynchburg bypass bridge across the James River between Amherst County and the City of Lynchburg is hereby designated the “Monacan [ Nation ] Bridge.” The Department of Transportation shall place and maintain appropriate markers indicating the designation of this bridge. This designation shall not affect any other designation heretofore or hereafter applied to this bridge.

[ § 2. The Virginia Route 168 drawbridge across the Intracoastal Waterway in the City of Chesapeake is hereby designated the “Malcolm J. Forbes, Sr., Bridge.” The Department of Transportation shall place and maintain appropriate markers indicating the designation of this bridge. This designation shall not affect any other designation heretofore or hereafter applied to this bridge. ]
