SUMMARY AS ENACTED WITH GOVERNOR'S RECOMMENDATION: (all summaries)
Garnished wages protected by homestead exemption. Provides that an individual may protect garnished wages via the homestead exemption by filing a claim of homestead exemption any time after the garnishment summons is served on the employer, and that the court shall consider such exemption.
