Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 15.2-1129.2 as follows:

§ 15.2-1129.2. Community centers in certain towns.

Any town meeting the requirements of this section may operate a community center that includes a movie theater for the exhibition of motion pictures produced expressly for commercial exhibition. The provisions of this section shall apply only to towns in which no privately owned movie theater for the exhibition of such motion pictures has been in operation within the town boundaries for 3 years.
