Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the second enactment of Chapter 317 of the Acts of Assembly of 2001 is amended and reenacted as follows:

That, notwithstanding the provisions of this act, persons engaging in acts that are restricted to pharmacy technicians pursuant to § 54.1-3321 shall not be required to be registered as pharmacy technicians until six months 1 year after the effective date of the final regulations promulgated by the Board of Pharmacy for such registration.
