SUMMARY AS PASSED:
Department of State Police; sale or lease of communication towers. Provides for the Department of State Police to receive in-kind goods and services from the lease or conveyance of any interest in communication towers or sites operated by the Department, which must be used to operate, acquire, construct, maintain, repair or replace communications towers, sites and systems of the Department.
SUMMARY AS PASSED SENATE:
Department of State Police; sale or lease of surplus property; communication towers. Provides for the Department of State Police to receive the proceeds, above the costs of the transaction, from the sale, lease, or conveyance of any interest in communication towers or sites operated by the Department. Such proceeds must be used to operate, acquire, construct, maintain, repair or replace communications towers, sites and systems of the Department.
