SUMMARY AS ENACTED WITH GOVERNOR'S RECOMMENDATION: (all summaries)
Telecommunications services; state agencies. Eliminates State Corporation Commission jurisdiction over rates for services provided pursuant to any contract for telecommunications service provided to the public by virtue of a contract between a public utility and the Commonwealth or a state agency. The measure also requires the Secretary of Public Safety to report on its implementation of outstanding JLARC recommendations regarding inmate telephone calls.
