SUMMARY AS PASSED: (all summaries)
Notification of reduction in force for teachers. Directs all school boards, within two weeks of approval of the school budget by the local governing body, but no later than June 1, to notify those teachers who may be subject to a reduction in force due to a decrease in the school board's budget as approved by the appropriating body. An emergency clause makes this measure effective upon passage and the measure expires in one year on July 1, 2003.
