Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. All school boards in Virginia shall prominently post the statement "In God We Trust" in a conspicuous place in each of their schools for all students to read.

The Office of the Attorney General shall intervene on behalf of local school boards and shall provide legal defense of the provisions of this section.

2. School boards, at their discretion, may accept contributions in cash or in-kind from any person, as defined in § 1-13.19, to defray the costs of implementing this provision.
