An Act authorizing the Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Substance Abuse Services to convey certain property in Augusta County to the Frontier Culture Museum of Virginia.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. The Department of Mental Health, Mental Retardation and Substance Abuse Services is hereby authorized to transfer to the Frontier Culture Museum of Virginia, with the approval by the Governor and in a form approved by the Attorney General, certain real property consisting of two parcels of unimproved land located at the northeast intersection of Interstate Routes 64 and 81 in Augusta County. The parcels are further described as DeJarnette Parcel 2, containing 17.593 acres, and Western State Parcel 2, containing 60.762 acres, on a survey plat prepared by Higgs & Shumate dated December 29, 1971 entitled Western State Hospital & DeJarnette State Sanatorium Lands.

§ 2. The appropriate officials of the Commonwealth are hereby authorized to prepare, execute and deliver such deed or other documents as may be necessary to accomplish the conveyance.
