SUMMARY AS PASSED: (all summaries)
Court of Appeals. Eliminates statutory references to what expenses will be reimbursed for judges of the Court of Appeals and the staff positions to which the judges are entitled. The Code of Virginia currently specifies that each judge is entitled to one research assistant and the services of a secretary. The bill provides that each judge is entitled to the staff support authorized by the Appropriations Act.
