SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Powers and duties of a drug law enforcement and investigation division. Clarifies that, in addition to any other powers and duties that may be provided by statute or otherwise, it is the duty of a State Police division for drug law enforcement and investigation to enforce the laws of the Commonwealth and conduct investigations related to certain violations of Title 18.2 involving controlled substances when requested by the Attorney General, any sheriff, chief of police, attorney for the Commonwealth or grand jury.
