HOUSE BILL NO. 1923 FLOOR AMENDMENT IN THE NATURE OF A SUBSTITUTE (Proposed by Delegate Hamilton on January 23, 2001) (Patron Prior to Substitute--Delegate Hamilton) A BILL to designate the entire length of Harpersville Road in the City of Newport News between US Route 60 and US Route 17 “Everett H. Hogge Memorial Highway.”

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. The entire length of Harpersville Road in the City of Newport News between US Route 60 and US Route 17 is hereby designated the “Everett H. Hogge Memorial Highway.” The Department of Transportation shall place and maintain appropriate markers indicating this designation. This designation shall not affect any other designation applied to this highway or any portion thereof.
