SUMMARY AS PASSED SENATE:
Study; webcasting. Directs the Joint Rules Committee to study and develop guidelines on webcasting (broadcasting over the Internet) and remote broadcasting by legislative entities. This resolution is a recommendation of the Joint Commission on Technology and Science.
SUMMARY AS INTRODUCED:
Study; webcasting. Establishes a joint subcommittee to study and develop guidelines on webcasting (broadcasting over the Internet) and remote broadcasting by legislative entities. The joint subcommittee shall be composed of seven members, two from the Joint Commission on Technology and Science (one from each house) and five from the Joint Rules Committee (three from the House of Delegates and two from the Senate). This resolution is a recommendation of the Joint Commission on Technology and Science.
