SUMMARY:

Mourning the death of Nina F. Abady. This resolution expresses the sorrow of the General Assembly upon the passing of Nina Friedman Abady. Mrs. Abady was an active resident of the City of Richmond, having founded and supported many of the city's community, historic, and civic events. She was also the founder of Downtown Presents, Festival Park, and 2 Street. She also served until her death in December 1993 as a member of the legislature's Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial Commission.
