SUMMARY:
Study; welfare fraud. Directs the Commission on Federal Block Grant Programs to study welfare fraud. The study shall include an investigation of welfare fraud and abuse in the Commonwealth, how effective the state's efforts have been in eliminating such abuses, and the feasibility and fiscal implications of using the latest in technology to combat fraud. This study was incorporated into SJR 356 to be studied by the Secretary of Health and Human Services, with the assistance of the Advisory Commission on Welfare Reform.
