SUMMARY:
Medical definitions. Defines "laser surgery" for the purposes of regulation of health professions. "Laser surgery" means the revision, destruction, incision or other structural alteration of human tissue using laser or other similar technology. The continued use of laser technology solely for nonsurgical purposes of examination and diagnosis is permitted for those professionals whose licenses allow such use.
