SUMMARY:

Public Procurement Act; design-build and construction management contracts. Authorizes the New River Valley Regional Jail Authority to enter into a contract for the construction of a regional jail, on a fixed priced or not-to-exceed price design-build basis or construction management basis. As a result, the New River Valley Regional Jail Authority is exempted from obtaining the approval of the Design-Build/Construction Management Review Board before proceeding with the jail project.
