SUMMARY:

Virginia Retirement System; exceptions from general early retirement provisions. Provides that administrative or professional faculty (including presidents and teaching and research faculty) employed at a state educational institution who are involuntarily separated from state service and who have 20 or more years of creditable service can retire at age 55 with normal retirement benefits.
