SUMMARY:

Elections; delivery and packaging of printed ballots. Authorizes the local electoral board to designate a board employee or the general or an assistant registrar to perform certain tasks now assigned by law to the board or a board member. This new authorization covers receipt of the ballots from the printer, a certification of the number of ballots printed, and the delivery of the sealed packages of ballots to the precincts. The bill deletes the requirement that the electoral board meet to receive the printed ballots.
