SUMMARY:
Insurance; cancellation or refusal to renew a policy; written notice to policyholders. Requires insurance companies to provide in writing the criteria used when determining whether to terminate or refuse to renew an insurance policy. Insurance companies shall provide this written criteria to policyholders at the time of the insurer's first response to the first claim filed by the insured or upon request of a policyholder or prospective policyholder.
