SUMMARY:

Job protection for service on board of supervisors. Provides that a board member in Buchanan County (described by population) shall not be discharged from employment as a result of his absence from employment due to attendance at regular board meetings upon giving reasonable notice to his employer of such absence. Violation of this provision are subject to a civil penalty of up to $2,500.
