Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 54.1-3400.1 as follows:

§ 54.1-3400.1. Manufacturing, distributing, dispensing, and prescribing controlled substances.

No person shall manufacture, distribute, dispense, or prescribe any controlled substance listed on Schedules I through VI unless the name and address of the manufacturer of such drug has been released to the public by the United States Food and Drug Administration.
