Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 6.1- 377.1 as follows:

§ 6.1-377.1. Acceptance of money orders by agents of licensee.

Any agent selling money orders issued by a licensee licensed under this chapter shall redeem, for cash or payment for goods, any money orders from a holder in due course bearing the name of the licensee at any of the agent's business establishments or franchises.
