SUMMARY:

Department of Minority Business Enterprise. Removes the responsibility for the preparation of minority participation reports from the various state agencies and transfers it to the Department of Minority Business Enterprise, with the assistance of the Comptroller. The report required by the Director of DMBE and the Comptroller, under this bill, would cover state expenditures to minority business enterprises in the previous fiscal year. The report would go to the Governor and the General Assembly.
