SUMMARY:

Learner's permits. Requires persons accompanying drivers using learner's permits to be the driver's parent or guardian; brother or sister 18 years of age or older; or at least 21 years old. The bill also requires the accompanying person to be lawfully permitted to operate a motor vehicle at that time. Provisions relating to the age of the accompanying driver are the same as the provisions of HB 520.
