VIRGINIA ACTS OF ASSEMBLY -- CHAPTER An Act to amend the Code of Virginia by adding a section numbered 63.1-198.03:1, relating to complaints against child-welfare agencies. [H 478] Approved

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That the Code of Virginia is amended by adding a section numbered 63.1-198.03:1 as follows:

§ 63.1-198.03:1. Retaliation against reports of child abuse or neglect.

No child-welfare agency may retaliate in any manner against any person who in good faith reports child abuse or neglect pursuant to § 63.1-248.1 et seq.
