SB 737 Property conveyance in Pocahontas State Park.

SUMMARY:

Property conveyance. Authorizes the Department of Conservation and Recreation, with the approval of the National Park Service, the Governor and the Attorney General, to exchange 26 acres of Pocahontas State Park for approximately 45 acres of private property owned by Dale Memorial Park. In addition, the Department will receive a perpetual easement across the entrance road of Dale Memorial Park for use as a bicycle and foot trail crossing and the Department will retain timber rights. This is emergency legislation.
