SB 1104 Motor vehicle insurance of state employees.

SUMMARY:

Motor vehicle insurance; transportation of patients by state employees. Authorizes the State Corporation's Bureau of Insurance to develop a motor vehicle insurance policy endorsement for private passenger motor vehicle insurance policies permitting insurers to exclude from liability coverage, any coverage that would inure to the Commonwealth of Virginia. The endorsement would be applicable to actions against the Commonwealth involving the transportation of patients in the personal automobiles of state employees.
