Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. That for any state employee who, in the regular course of his employment, is required to transport patients in his own personal vehicle, the Commonwealth shall pay the cost of any (i) increase in the insurance premium incurred by such employee on such vehicle as a result of such transportation and (ii) additional driver’s license fees for such employee if an additional licensing endorsement pursuant to Title 46.2 is required by his insurer as a result of such transportation.
