SUMMARY:
Local coal and gas road improvement tax. Allows certain counties to transfer up to one million dollars from their Coal and Gas Road Improvement Fund to their general fund to be used for public education and governmental purposes provided the county contributes a matching amount of funds. A no-loss provision is included, as well as a June 30, 1996, sunset date.
