Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. That § 29.1-515 of the Code of Virginia is amended and reenacted as follows:

§ 29.1-515. Migratory game birds.

A. Migratory game birds other than native swan may be hunted in accordance with regulations of the Board. Board regulations shall conform to the regulations of the United States government insofar as open seasons and bag limits are concerned.

B. There shall be a continuously closed season on the hunting of native swan.

2. That the provisions of this act shall expire on July 1, 1997.
