1995 SESSION
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:
1. § 1. That the Williamsburg Area Medical Assistance Corporation, a private nonprofit organization pursuant to § 501 (c) (3) of the U.S. Internal Revenue Code, may purchase controlled substances pursuant to the regulations of the Department of General Services governing such purchases, upon the approval of the contractor, and dispense controlled substances consistent with the requirements of Chapters 33 (§ 54.1-3300 et seq.) and 34 (§ 54.1-3400 et seq.) of Title 54.1 of the Code of Virginia.
§ 2. The Williamsburg Area Medical Assistance Corporation shall be authorized to accept the volunteer services of any licensed physician, licensed pharmacist, registered or licensed practical nurse, or other health care provider, and to apply for, accept, or expend gifts or donations from public or private sources to enable the organization to execute its objectives.
