SB 82 Regional jail, jail farm board membership.

SUMMARY:

Regional jail; jail farm board membership. Allows any participating local governing body or any sheriff appointed to a regional jail or jail farm board to appoint an alternate to serve on behalf of the member or sheriff. The qualifications of the alternate must meet the same as those originally appointed, and alternates count toward the establishment of a quorum and may vote in the absence of the regular appointee.

This bill is identical to HB 1102.
