SUMMARY:

Jails; members of boards. Allows a political subdivision or a sheriff to appoint an alternate to serve in the absence of the permanent board member for meetings of jail or jail farm boards or a regional jail authority of which they are members. Alternates count toward quorums and have voting rights.
