1994 SESSION
HB 844 Drug Control Act.
Introduced by: Harvey B. Morgan | all patrons ... notes | add to my profiles
SUMMARY:
Drug Control Act. Effects changes in the drug schedules which are necessary to bring state law into conformance with recent federal drug schedule changes (U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration). Federal and state schedules must be consistent in order to avoid confusion among practitioners, i.e., prescribers and pharmacists. One significant change is that the manufactured stimulant methcathinone is included in drug Schedule I as it has no medicinal value and a high abuse potential.
