SUMMARY:

Powers of the chairman of the board of supervisors in certain counties. Gives the chairman of the board of supervisors in counties with the urban county executive form of government (Fairfax) additional powers, including the power to call special meetings, to set the agenda of the board, to appoint representatives to regional boards and to appoint subcommittees of the board. A majority of all members elected to the board may modify the agenda or revoke appointments.
